The Platform Demonstrator
Dates – Sunday 27th September – Saturday 3rd October 2026
Public demonstrating is both exciting and nerve wracking, the next step for some on their mediumistic journey and a continuation for others. So whether you are just about to begin your platform work or have been doing it for a long time, this course will meet you where you are and help you become stronger and more confident in your work. Taking the brave move to be a platform demonstrator is not easy, especially with so many elements needed for it to feel that we’re doing a good job. Without the right techniques, professional presentation and delivery in place we will still have room for growth, so having the ability to explore all of those elements in a safe and nurturing environment will allow you to realise your potential and self-belief. The tutors on this week want to help you recognise your own presence in this process and give you the freedom to experiment with new ways of working too. There will be multiple opportunities to demonstrate throughout the week along with focused classes. If you want improvement in your work to carry forward, have more practice, more support and guidance and be amongst like minded people then join us for this fabulous week.

- Bringing presence, essence and emotion along with evidence
- Manage your audience along with adapting to your space/environment
- Develop the story of your evidence and move deeper into the detail of information
- Stage presence and delivery
- Working with more than one communicator
- Manage your nerves and move beyond fear
- Sustain your contact and be more aware of your connection
- Recognise the different ways to place your contacts and finding the right recipients
- Experiment with different ways to work
- Recognising the power you work in and embrace the demonstrator that you are
